Photos from our first golf cottage project are back, and we could not be more excited to finally share them with you. Two years in the making, this new-build golf cottage is nestled at Robert Trent Jones and was designed with gathering at its heart.

Airy spaces, natural elements, warm layered materials, and a subtle nod to the owners’ Texas roots come together to make the cottage feel both elevated and inviting. 🤎

Whether unwinding after a round of golf or gathering with friends and family for a special event, every detail was thoughtfully considered to create a space that feels personal, welcoming, and right at home on the course.

I’m Allison Shortmeyer, Founder & Principal Designer of Allison Shortmeyer Interiors.

I’m a wife, mom to three amazing daughters, and, of course, someone who has always loved creating beautiful spaces. I believe a home should feel like you - thoughtfully designed, comfortable, personal, and made to be lived in.

My approach to design is all about creating timeless interiors that feel collected, but can be joyfully lived in. I love getting to know my clients, hearing how they live, what they love, and helping bring their vision to life in a way that feels uniquely theirs.
