Super excited to share that my client’s McLean kitchen is featured in Northern Virginia Magazine this month!! I love the story of this kitchen and how my client’s dream and vision came to life. So many hours go into a full renovation, and every one of them is worth it! Honored that I am welcomed into people’s homes and get to work with them to create these special spaces❤️
Happy 4th of July! “O beautiful for spacious skies, For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties Above the fruited plain! America! America!
God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood From sea to shining sea!”

I know- it’s been a while since I’ve posted. We are here. We are making our way through this season of growth, and it’s exciting. We are learning something new everyday and ways to improve everyday. I say we because I couldn’t do any of this by myself. Thankful for the most amazing team- my family, my fantastic assistant Erin, amazing team of contractors, and JESUS. Design is fun, inspiring, stressful, and all consuming some days, BUT we are looking forward to seeing where all of this hard work takes us.
A visit to the model home of my client’s new build. Today was all about window treatment details and measuring. Next step is fabric selection for these gorgeous windows❤️

Maybe an entire bedroom refresh isn't in the budget, but there's an easy way to change up your decor.
Change out your bedside lamps and add some new accessories to your nightstand like a tray, some books, and an attractive analog clock. On the opposite side table add a nice arrangement of faux greenery or fresh flowers.
Your side tables don't need to match, so choose a different setup for both.
And remember: Keep it simple. Less is always more!
